Measurement Guide for Dresses
Please make sure that whoever takes your measurements read the instructions below and take photos on how these measurements are taken, to avoid misunderstanding and providing wrong measurements. Thank you!
Remember, it’s easier to cut a dress down than to try to lose that last inch, especially with all the goodies at the parties and showers! We recommend you have a professional seamstress who will alter/fit your gown to take your measurements for you. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS - THEY WILL BE WRONG! Use a vinyl tape-measure; fabric ones tend to stretch over time and your dress will be ordered too small. When you measure, wear shoes with a heel height similar to what you plan to wear on your wedding day/party, and without bra or bustier. If you measure without shoes on, then please add your shoes' height to your Height and Hollow to Hem (Hollow to Floor). Our production team may not need all these measurements, but it's good to have them all, just in case.
